In January 2004 I learned of the death of Jihrayr Zorthian who passed away at age 92. After expressing to him my interest in doing a story, I had the distinct pleasure of being invited up to his ranch above Altadena, Calif., in the summer of 1999 for a tour of his 45-acre spread and to learn more about who he was. These are some of the images I brought back with me from my meeting with that remarkable man, and I post them here in his wonderful memory.
